I missed you too

September 21, 2010

I have often said that I have the best job in the world. Maybe its just that my inner hippie child is well suited to a career in which I get to inspire growth in others while playing Cat Stevens and walking around barefoot. Every day I find gratitude. So it is on days like today when I find myself unable to teach my usual classes (due to issues related with my moon cycle), that my initial reaction is one of sorrow and guilt. While I know that I left them with a wonderful substitute, I can’t help thinking of all of their beautiful, open hearts and feeling that I have let them down.

So if you went to my class this evening and missed me, please know that I missed you too. I’m sending each of you beams of light, connecting my heart to yours.
